The Office of the Director Curative Health Services oversees the operational
functions of the three divisional hospitals and the two national hospitals. The
three divisional hospitals are; Colonial War Memorial Hospital (CWMH), Lautoka
Hospital and Labasa Hospital. The two national hospitals are; St. Giles Hospital
and Tamavua/Twomey Hospital.
Ministry of Health plays a very important role in human resource plan as it determines the training needs relevant for the health sector in Fiji. Improper analysis undertaken will lead to increase in health issues, wastage of resources, and oversupply of trained health specialists that will not utilize.
The Ministry provides human resource data include:

nurses employed by the public and private sectors by profession
Total number of Doctors needed in the country by profession
