Ministry of National Planning
The Integrated Human Resource Programme for Employment Promotion is a unique programme for Fiji.
Cabinet endorsed the IHRDPEP on Employment Promotion on 24th February 1998. The programme is designed to address unemployment in a holistic and proactive approach. A range of complementary efforts and initiatives are being integrated thus using scarce resources of both the public and private sectors more efficiently. A major focus of the programme is on the informal sector.
There are six sub programmes hosted by relevant Ministries with the Programme Manager based at the Ministry of National Planning.
