Manager Business Improvement
Long Description:
Reporting
to the General Manager, the Manager Business Improvement is responsible
for identifying areas for business improvement through the analysis of
internal data, competitor activity and benchmarking studies as well as
securing strategy alignment within the TFL Group by assisting other
Unit heads in creating and tracking of relevant Balanced Scorecards
across the organisational hierarchy. The role requires the capability
to think and view initiatives holistically and manage the Business
Improvement and Alignment Pipeline from analysis to integration within
the business, including the dissemination of key learnings within the
business and the development of talent within the unit.
You are expected to:
• Cascade Balanced Scorecard (BSC) across the TFL Group by running
workshops aligned to higher-level Scorecards and setting up BSC
trackers in Reporting Application to ensure proactive scorecard
publishing.
â?¢ Design and recommend BSC-aligned Performance and Compensation
Management System that enable the business to obtain insight into
performance by day, week, month or period under review
â?¢ Improve insight into key business processes that TFL must excel
at and initiate specific improvements that would strengthen TFLâ??s
position in the market including setting up new process monitoring
reports that improve process management.
â?¢ Develop and identify specific Strategic Capabilities that are
required to operate and improve TFLâ??s key business processes and
initiate specific improvements that will build required capability.
â?¢ Jointly analyse competitor activity captured by Retail and Wholesale and recommend appropriate business responses.
â?¢ Templatise the reporting of products and projects reporting to
provide quick-insight into key outcomes and actual performance relative
to targets.
â?¢ Develop business model of market and extract insight for business improvement.
â?¢ Initiate and implement at least one business improvement
initiative per quarter that improves efficiency, productivity, revenue
or image building as well as one business improvement activity that
reduces costs".
