Title: Clerical Officer
|
|
Duties: The following list of duties covers all
administrative tasks to be undertaken. The post holder will be required
to be familiar with all of these duties and responsibilities: Typing
correspondence and reports for the team including standard letters,
using the appropriate software packages and typing. Providing a
reception service to visitors to the Vice Chancellor’s Office and to
the team. Arranging appointments as requested by the Vice Chancellor
and the team. Administering the room bookings. Answering of incoming
telephone calls, relaying messages accurately and efficiently, and
using initiative to make decisions on urgency of call. Provide
straightforward information to enquiries where the clerk may be the
first point of contact.

Relevant Experience: Applicants to possess a
Diploma or Degree in Office Administration. Minimum 3 years of relevant
experience. Possess excellent problem solving, presentation,
organizational & analytical skills; communication &
interpersonal skills. Possess a professional & proactive attitude
along with pleasant personality. Must have excellent Microsoft and
Power Point skills.

Salary: An attractive salary commensurate with qualifications and abilities would be negotiated with the successful applicants.
